Object Types

If you are unsure what is meant by the Object Type used in many of our APIs, we've got you covered.

Object Type can have three different values.

1. Container

Use this option when you need to retrieve information about an entire area, comprising multiple geographies. If you intend to make changes to the entire area, you can easily do so by using the object type "container".

2. Polygon

Use this option when you need to retrieve information about a specific geography only. If you intend to make changes to just a geography, you can easily do so by using object type "polygon".

3. Point

Use this option when you need to retrieve information about a specific point only. If you intend to make changes to just a point, you can easily do so by using object type "point".
